Thank you to everyone that expressed an interest in this used Equihunter Arena 3.5 tonne horsebox. It sold within just 3 days of putting it up for sale.

It’s now off to a new home in Romney Marsh and we wish the new owners great times in this lovely example of the 3.5 tonne Arena.

Our 3.5 tonne vehicle has some impressive features Stalled for two, the Arena can carry a payload of over 1100 kilograms but can be driven by anyone holding a car license. [Equihunter] Our latest production model of the Equihunter Arena was rolled out of the workshop yesterday, and what a lovely sight it was.

Yesterday was a watershed moment for Equihunter as we completed our latest project, the newest vehicle to join the fleet was unveiled, this time based on a Fiat Ducato Long Wheel Base chassis.

The sleek lines of the Fiat Ducato perfectly complement the curves of the Arena, as the early morning sun bounced off the fresh paintwork that was finished in our classic Arctic White we now just need to add the graphics to complete the magic.

A Double First for Team Equihunter

[Equihunter] A very hot sunny Sunday afternoon saw a really successful day for Team Equihunter this Sunday. Our team rider Libby Newman came in first twice in the same afternoon. Well done to Libby.

With temperature soaring to 30 degrees locally and with no wind or clouds to provide any respite, jumping conditions were challenging for both horses and riders at the Felbridge Showground.

The young rider entered two classes, Class 6, the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers 1st Round and then, Class 7, the Squib Demolition Pony Foxhunter 1st Round … and we are pleased to say that it was a very successful day when Libby gained a first place at both Double Firstheights.

When asked what was the most challenging part of the competition was Libby said that she was most concerned about the ponies getting overheated and made sure that there was plenty of water available for them straight after the competition came to a close.

A lot of hard work and training has gone into making this day such a success and that

It was a late finish on the day for both seniors and juniors as jumping was still progressing well into the early evening, but with the cloudless sky continuing late into the day, some riders took full advantage of the the slightly cooler evening air temperatures to continue with the more demanding competition classes.

 

Felbridge next holds affiliated competitions for Seniors on Saturday 20th July (further details and schedule here) … and also on Sunday 21st July (schedule here).

The show was established by a group of friends who have all been touched by cancer. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed.

THE SHOW
Classes include: Ridden and in-hand Showing, Working Hunter Pony, Show Jumping, Bareback Jumping, Chase Me Charlie, Gymkhana, Handy Pony as well as Championship classes.

The Surrey Spring Show Society holds a Grand Raffle in order to raise money for selected charities The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and St Catherine’s Hospice and raised an incredible £5,500.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE SURREY SPRING SHOW SOCIETY

We all know of Cancer, it happens to other people. The Surrey Spring Show has been established by a group of friends who have all been touched by this disease. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed. The Show is being run to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital (where Sam continues to receive her excellent treatment); and St.Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley) that cared so wonderfully for Sue. The committee and everyone involved have given their time for free and every penny of the proceeds will go to the two charities. Thank you for your kind and generous support.
