EQUIHUNTER HORSEBOXES are proud to be an advert sponsor of the Surrey Spring Show this year.
The show was established by a group of friends who have all been touched by cancer. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed.
THE SHOW
Classes include: Ridden and in-hand Showing, Working Hunter Pony, Show Jumping, Bareback Jumping, Chase Me Charlie, Gymkhana, Handy Pony as well as Championship classes.
CLASSES START FROM 9:00 PROMPTLY
Wonderful prizes including sashes, gorgeous rosettes and medals.
RAFFLE
Prizes include a weeks stay at a villa in Cyprus, an Apple iPad & 10kg of Sussex beef and many more prizes. Please see our raffle page to get more details of the prizes for the 2013 show and the raffle results list from the 2011 show.
Top prize is 2 VIP tickets to a London Film Premier and overnight stay in a 5 star London Hotel, including Breakfast kindly donated by Paramount Films.
The Surrey Spring Show Society holds a Grand Raffle in order to raise money for selected charities The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and St Catherine’s Hospice and raised an incredible £5,500.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE SURREY SPRING SHOW SOCIETY
We all know of Cancer, it happens to other people. The Surrey Spring Show has been established by a group of friends who have all been touched by this disease. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed. The Show is being run to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital (where Sam continues to receive her excellent treatment); and St.Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley) that cared so wonderfully for Sue. The committee and everyone involved have given their time for free and every penny of the proceeds will go to the two charities. Thank you for your kind and generous support.
