We are selling this superb example of Equi-Trek’s Sonic 5, a 3.5 tonne horsebox for our customer, with cab seating for 5, it’s covered only 20k miles from new and is built on a 2011 Peugeot Boxer chassis. The rear cab bench seats also convert to a bunk bed.

The compact, versatile and easy to drive Sonic Five 3500kg horsebox offers a five seater cab with five seat belts designed with family and friends in mind.

The belt anchorages and installation have been rigorously tested and conform to 2005/41/EC, making them fully EU type approved for safety and peace of mind. The rear seats of the horsebox have the option of converting to two bunks for overnight stays.

What do you get for this price….. all of this….

The basic build price includes your choice of colour in a non-metallic paint finish. The price also includes a black finish to the luton roof front & replica painted side windows plus swirls and stripes graphics, our logo and model lettering.

Included is an upgrade to flush bonded opening windows in tinted privacy glass, two in the horse area and another in the locking rear door.

Other inclusions in the Horse Area are a lightweight ramp with your choice of vertical lifting gas ram assisted top lid, or alternatively a barn door style is available at the same price.

[Equihunter] Our latest project is about to roll off of the production line next week destined for a well known riding school based in Essex.

The Equihunter Arena 3.5t Horsebox in cream with green and gold trim

This build is finished to our customer specific instructions and is completed in a beautiful rich cream paint made by BMW called “Pepper White”, with green and gold trim that matches the corporate logo of the riding school.

This Arena is built upon a 2011 Fiat Ducato chassis with only 38,000 miles on the clock.

We’ve also added special features like internal LED lighting with blue night running lights as we have on our 7.5 tonne Equihunter Endurance lorry.

As fitted to the Equihunter Endurance

This ensures that the horses benefit from having a lit journey during the hours of darkness, but can also see out through the windows at assign traffic, and thus are less likely to be spooked but the sudden appearance of other vehicles headlights.

Other features include LED down lighters mounted above the rear door plus another set of LED down lights mounted high up on the drivers side of the vehicle to light the tie up area for those late evenings preparing to return home after dusk has fallen.

….. the only things still to be completed are some finishing touches in the cab, the passenger seats are just about be to be delivered after being re-covered in cream vinyl and the bulkhead wall liner needs finishing. Apart from that, we’re ready to ‘rock and roll’

[Equihunter] When designing the EQUIHUNTER ENDURANCE it was important for us to maintain a look of a continuous working area in the kitchen area. Not only was this to maximise the amount of flat surface to work on during food and drinks preparation, but also we wanted to enhance the clean cut lines of the entire interior of this exclusive Horsebox.

Forget Diesel powered cooking, with fuel prices as high as ever it’s only going to get more and more expensive. On the other hand, LPG is half the price and has far lower harmful Co2 emissions.

So rather than choose from the myriad of aluminium hobs available in the leisure vehicle marketplace, we decided to opt for a more expensive solution but one that was just the ticket in terms of design.

So we chose from the Dometic range, a cooktop that was powered by LPG but fired up via a 12 volt electrical system. This unit originally designed for the marine industry fitted our requirements perfectly.

Dometic CC 11: high-tech for the mobile kitchen

It couldn’t be more efficient: the new Dometic CC 11 ceramic cooktop operates on a special principle that makes cooking more fun and reduces the gas consumption at the same time. Each hotplate of the black or white ceramic cooktop has a simmering plate behind it which is heated by the flue gas from the burner in front.

This allows cooking in two pans with only one burner turned on.
The bottom-line is a total of four easy-to-use cooking areas consuming only 210 grams of gas per operating hour at a generous heat output of 1.6 or 1.3 kilowatts.

The highly efficient burners on the Dometic CC 11 are ignited via the 12-volt vehicle electrics. It takes them just 7.5 minutes to boil a litre of water.

Mobile technology specialist Dometic has developed the CC 11 gas operated ceramic cooktop as a convenient upgrade version to replace the company’s best-selling gas hob, Dometic PI 8023.

The Dometic CC 11 has the same built-in dimensions and can be retrofitted with minimal effort. Its frameless, bevelled glass surface fits perfectly flush with the surrounding worktop and is very easy to clean. Installation is facilitated by the fact that there’s no chimney required.

The Corian® worktop provides the perfect base and blends with the ceramic cooktop, it’s solid and has a really beautiful finish.

Last but not least, a reliable hot surface indicator makes for safe operation.

The 15-year-old from Thornaby won the Grand Prix event in Fontainebleau, where she struck double gold at last year’s European Pony Championships.

She took the top Grand Prix spot in France on her father Peter’s 10-year-old bay mare Song Girl with two clear rounds in a time of 42.62 seconds.

The Stainsby Grange youngster had produced one of nine clear jumps in the first round.

And her faultless efforts in such a quick time went unmatched as she showed why she is the European individual and team champion.

Millie’s victory was part of a hugely successful three-week trip to Europe for the Teesside teenager.

She also finished third in the Junior Gold Grand Prix and made another successful stop in Germany following her victory in France.

Millie’s 19-year-old sister Pippa, who is part of the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Development Programme, is based in Eschweiller at Helena Weinberg and Tim Stormann’s yard.

They held an international two- star Young Masters show and the sisters flew the flag for Great Britain with eight first and three second places.
