About the Society
Welcome to the Surrey Spring Show. This Show has been established by a group of friends who have all been touched by cancer. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed.
The Show is being run to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital and St.Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley).
We all know of Cancer, it happens to other people. The Surrey Spring Show has been established by a group of friends who have all been touched by this disease. The idea to raise money with a charity show began when dear friends Sam Holland & Sue Alkin were both diagnosed.
The Show is being run to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital (where Sam continues to receive her excellent treatment); and St.Catherines Hospice (Crawley) that cared so wonderfully for Sue. The committee and everyone involved have given their time for free and every penny of the proceeds will go to the two charities. Thank you for your kind and generous support.
Charities Supported
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
The Royal Marsden is a world-leading cancer centre, providing the very best treatment and care for more than 40,000 cancer patients every year. It is also at the forefront of cancer research. The Royal Marsden’s work influences how all cancer patients are treated and cared for, not just in its own hospitals but all over the world.
St Catherine’s Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers. For over 25 years they have been providing high quality hospice care, free of charge, to people living in Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex and East Surrey.
