Dressed in a suit and what appeared to be a cycle helmet, the Mayor – who normally favours a bike – gave a thumbs up as he was led on horseback by Olympic gold medallist Nick Skelton.
They were launching the equestrian event Longines Global Champions Tour at the International Quarter next to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park June 6-9, the first time it has been held in the UK.
Tickets start at £10 and are available atwww.globalchampionstour.com
